Being Productive During Quarantine

You must have read many articles, watched videos on how to pass time during quarantine — Netflix, Hotstar, Become a Chef, Be Artistic, Work out at home, Yoga and what not. THIS is DIFFERENT.

Corona Virus has hit us all hard, but the hardest to the females of our country. Wives, mothers and daughters-in-law have to bear the most of it, as they are on duty 24*7 now. We understand you are *Working from Home* and not at all idling around, but a little help does no harm.

If someone makes you happy,

Make them happier

Instead of lamenting around, idling your time playing games, chilling on Netflix all day; one can play an important role at home by shouldering onto some responsibilities.

  1. Dish it out!! 🍴

One of the males can take up dishes of any time (morning, afternoon or evening), as per one’s convenience. Even one single time would relieve the woman of the house. And if not even that, the least one can do is wash up their utensils (spoon, glass, bowl and plate)

2. Tea Time

The fathers or husbands of the houses can aid by preparing a fresh cup of tea once in the morning. Trust me, it is not the only cup of tea in a day. On an average, tea is prepared 4 times a day in an Indian house.

3. Change the linens and Pillow Covers

This would be like a warm up for gym freak males 😅

Why refrain from doing it?

4. Pick up the dried clothes

Who would refrain from going out in balcony or on the terrace at this point of time?

5. Stop ordering them 🙏🏻

Remember, it is not your office — you won’t get readymade coffee after every 2 hours, no deliveries on the desk (currently your bed). Do not expect things to be systematic and organized at home, do not crib about every thing.

*Bonus*

Fill water bottles and keep everyone hydrated.
